While great for walking, I don't recommend this park for sports. The grassy areas are few and small.
Worth it! It's beautiful and I would totally go back again! So many interesting paths and views! Pretty close to Newark, DE.

There are porta-johns near the free parking lot, but no other facilities that I've seen.
This is my favorite park in this area. It's paved enough that you can walk when it's muddy, but there are trails that go up the hill and connect with the state park.

It seems a popular spot for photos. The valley has a brook with many picturesque bridges and stone dams to create waterfalls.
